This week my class had to go to the library to get more clarity on how to properly evaluate information. One of may things I had learned was that, every source you find has a purpose. There is a reason for the information existing. Good information is when it has reviews, complete enough for the problem, and a reliable source. Applying pictures and videos are another great way to evaluate information. Pictures are able to catch a million words, we quickly observe everything. When posting a picture on Instagram or Facebook , I make sure I stay true to who I am. Also it allows me to express myself in a picture if I feel as if i can not find a way to use words.
I am still trying to gather more information for my topic. I tend to be curious onto what exactly my main points should in this blog ( feedback and advice is welcome π ). I would like to possibly at some point put a bunch of info into a picture kind of idea. On another note , this bibliography assignment was a little confusing at the beginning but during class on Wednesday, I was able to gain clarity onto what I exactly need to write. I do like this assignment, but my concerns are more focused on the Information literacy evaluation, I found it hard for me to finish that section to my full potential due to not being able to find a reliable article focusing on the Author. However, being able to have access to CEC consultations is a plus. I was able to get help on what to do and she allowed me to work on my own then review over what i wrote.
